a. Event Registration Fees

  • Cancellation by Participant:
    • If a participant cancels their registration for an event (e.g., conference, workshop, seminar) [oneweek] prior to the event start date, a refund of [75%] of the registration fee may be issued.
    • Cancellations made after this period, or non-attendance, will generally not be eligible for a refund.
  • Cancellation by Research Foundation of India:
    • In the rare event that RFI cancels an event, participants will be offered a full refund of their registration fees. We will make every effort to notify participants in advance.

b. Publication Charges (e.g., Article Processing Charges)

  • Refunds for publication charges are generally not issued once the peer-review process has commenced or the article has been accepted for publication.
  • If a submission is withdrawn by the author before the peer-review process begins, a partial refund may be considered, subject to administrative fees.
  • No refunds will be issued for articles that are rejected after peer review, as the charges cover the costs associated with the review process.

c. Donations           

  • Donations made to Research Foundation of India are generally non-refundable. As a non-profit organization, we rely on donations to fund our initiatives and projects.
  • In exceptional circumstances, such as an erroneous duplicate transaction or an incorrect amount, a refund for a donation may be considered upon written request within 3-5 days of the transaction. Such requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

d. Other Services/Products

  • For any other services or products offered, specific refund terms will be clearly stated at the point of purchase or agreement. If no specific terms are provided, the general policy of non-refund ability applies.

3. Non-Refundable Items/Situations

  • Payments for services already rendered or consumed.
