Registered Organization
Research Foundation of India (RFI), an MSME-registered institution, is a legally recognized organization under the Government of Madhya Pradesh (1958), registered by the District Labour Office, Jabalpur (MP), with Registration No. 18/05/30/C/821210. RFI is also registered with RFI Book Publication under ISBN.gov.in (Government of India) since 2019. Further, RFI Publication House has been registered with the Ministry of Education, Government of India in July 2021 (ISBN.gov.in).
RFI CARE is working as registered under Section 8 for Social and Research and Educatioonal Development.
RFI actively collaborates with the Society Jabalpur Higher Education and Research Foundation (JHERF), a society registered under the Government of India Society Act, 1973 (Registration No. 04/14/07/18221/16), following the unanimous recommendation of its Higher Education & Research Foundation members.
In addition, RFI works closely with the Council of Academic Research and Educational Organization (RFI CARE), a not-for-profit organization registered under Section 8 of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India (CIN: U85190MP2021NPL058143). RFI CARE Publication House was also registered in 2023 with the Ministry of Education, Government of India (ISBN.gov.in).
RFI is committed to social upliftment and the enhancement of higher education and research in India through initiatives such as international and national conferences, seminars, workshops, symposiums, and allied academic activities. RFI CARE is a research society dedicated to promoting and advancing knowledge in education, particularly higher education. It encourages scholarly inquiry and supports the application of research to strengthen education systems and serve the public good.

About Us
RFI CARE focuses on improving educational processes by promoting scholarly inquiry, evaluation, and the dissemination and practical application of research outcomes. With a primary emphasis on research and development in higher education, the organization—formerly known as the Foundation for Research—conducts workshops, training programs, conferences, and extensive outreach activities, continuously since its inception.
RFI CARE’s membership includes distinguished professionals—faculty members, researchers, graduate students, and practitioners—with diverse expertise in education research. Members work across universities, research institutes, school systems, testing organizations, and nonprofit sectors. Through rigorous research, they generate and disseminate knowledge, refine methodologies, and promote evidence-based practice.
RFI CARE is a global organization with members from over 15 countries, with approximately 1% of the membership residing outside India. About 74% of members identify education as their primary discipline, while others represent fields such as engineering, medicine, dentistry, psychology, statistics, sociology, history, economics, philosophy, anthropology, and political science.
The organization is led by a core team of academic and support staff, supported by a wide network of senior academics in higher education. The Research Times, a multidisciplinary publication, provides a robust platform for scholars to share ideas and insights, encouraging academic dialogue across disciplines.
Organizational Growth and Collaborations
Recognizing the expanding domestic and global demand for higher education, RFI has focused on capacity expansion and institutional collaboration. Since 2018, RFI operated as a proprietorship under the Government of Madhya Pradesh while collaborating with JHERF for social and research upliftment. In April 2021, RFI formally registered under MSME (Government of India) with ten approved services, based on MP Government (1958) provisions.
In October 2021, RFI CARE was incorporated as a Section 8 company under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. RFI has executed multiple MoUs to advance educational activities, including:
- A MoU with JHERF (May 2018) for education and publication initiatives approved by the Government of India.
- A MoU with RFI CARE (October 2021) for educational research and development assistance.
RFI also facilitates ISBN allotment for conferences and events through ISBN.gov.in and provides editorial and research support for scholarly publications, including edited volumes with international serial book numbers and multi-disciplinary chapters. Through a global network of representatives, RFI continues to support research development and academic collaboration worldwide.
